Tebault ITEi,l #2091 AN ORDINANCE REPEALING AN ORDINANCE ADOPTED JULY 28, 1969, AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE AND SALE OF $2,000,000 WATER AND SEWER BONDS OF THE CITY OF VIRGINIA BEACH, VIRGINIA WHEREAS, on July 28, 1969, the Council of the City of Virginia Beach adopted an ordinance entitied "An Ordinance Authorizing the Issuance of an Additional $2,000,000 Water and Sewer Bonds of the City of Virginia Beach, Virginia"; and WHEREAS, the amount of such bonds are being included in a new ordinance authorizing the issuance of $4,000,000 Water and Sewer Bonds so that the foregoing ordinance is no longer needed; BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VIRGINIA BEACH3 VIRGINIA: 1. Pursuant to the authority of the Charter of the City of Virginia Beach (Ch. 147, Acts of Assembly of 1962, as amended) and the Public Finance Act of 1958, as amended, there are hereby 2 authorizeb to be i8sued One Million Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($1,500,000) Water and Sewer Bonds of the City of Virginia Beach to provide funds for improving and extending its water transmission and distribution system and sewer collection system, including acqLiisition of rights of"way- 3.
