carried, will deliver into said mains, and if the said supplying of water shall
not be in accordance witli the standard service, the said City of Norfolk shall
not be held responsible in any way.
5. That in supplyin.@ water to consumers along the said proposed mains
the City of Norfolk will supply the sarne only frorn its surplus supply, and
that in no event shall there be any obligation on the part of said City to supply
water to any consurners along the proposed rnains at any time when, in the
judgement of the Council of the said City of Norfolk, the said City shall not
have sufficient supply for use within its corporate lirnits, or whenever 'he
supplying of said water shall interfere with the discharge of the duty of said
City to supply water to its own inhabitants.
6. That froin and after the installation c)f the water mains and hydrants
they shall beconie the property of the City of Vir.@inia Beach. The City of
Virginia Beach shall ,rant to the City of Norfolk the ri,@lit to use such mains
