Dear Councilmembers:
The City Council Annual Workshop is scheduled for August 15 and 16 at the
Economic Development Conference Room on the 10th floor of Town Center from 8:30
a.m. to 5 p.m. For those of you who would like to arrive early, there will be coffee and
assorted danish available at 8 a.m.
We have also scheduled a joint workshop with the Virginia Beach School Board
on Thursday, August 14, from 6:30 - 10:30 p.m. at the Advanced Technology Center at
TCC. Light refreshments will be provided.
I look forward to these two important events as we continue our work in planning
the future of our City.

To access the parking garage:
Turn onto Central Park Avenue from Virginia Beach Blvd Ave at PF Chang's.
The garage entrance is on the left just past the Town Center's ma~n lobby
entrance (follow the Public Parking signs). At the top of the first ramp, TURN
LEFT and proceed to a convenient parking space on any parking level.
To reach Economic Development's offices:
Upon parking in the garage, take one of the two garage elevators in the center of
the garage area to the first floor main lobby. (Do not use the elevators located at
the corner of the .qara.qe.) Turn left after exibng the garage elevators in the main
lobby, proceed to the bank of six elevators, and select the 10th floor.
Security personnel in the lobby are available for assistance.
