ITEM # 54696 Chairman Shucet, introduced Craig Seymour, Vice President - RKG Associates, Inc., to present the DRAFT Economic Impact Analysis entitled: Economic Impacts of BRA C Realignment ofNavalAir Station (NAS) Oceana. Chairman Shucet cited the objectives of the DRAFT Economic Impact Analysis: IdentifY and quantifY the economic impacts of alternatives resultingfrom the realignment of NAS Oceana according to the BRAC Commission's decision. Estimate the economic and financial impacts on the City of Virginia Beach Estimate the impacts on the Hampton Roads region and the Commonwealth of Virginia Provide useful information for informed policy decisions The methodology utilized was to collect and analyze data on employment, wages, procurement, expenditures of the Us.
