After receiving City Council's input on the proposed dates in 2007 for the citywide town
meetings, the following schedule has been set:
Tuesday, January 30
Topic: City Council's Top Priority Goal: Improved Transportation System
7:15 - 9:00 p.m.

Tuesday, June 19
Tuesday, September 18
Tuesday, November 20
Topics and locations to be determined
The January town meeting on transportation was scheduled to occur while the General Assembly
is in session. Hopefully, our citizen input will have some value to the General Assembly as they
address the vital issue of transportation.
As previously discussed, the format for the town meetings will include:
4& A staff briefing on the meeting topic
CD Questions and answers on the evening topic
CD Facilitated public dialogue on the topic first, then other matters as time allows
Information about the January 30 town meeting will appear in City Page on January 17.
