HONORABLE MEMBERS OF CITY COUNCIL
In accordance with the Virginia Beach City Code Section 2-21, and by the
authority vested in me as Mayor of the City of Virginia Beach, I hereby call for a
SPECIAL MEETING of the VIRGINIA BEACH CITY COUNCIL for City Council to
CONVENE A CLOSED MEETING pursuant to Virginia Code § 2.2-3711(A)(1) to
discuss a prospective CANDIDATE FOR THE POSITION OF CITY MANAGER. The
closed meeting will be held:
Tuesday, January 26, at 3:00 P.M.

2401 Courthouse Drive
Pursuant to the same authorities, I also hereby call for a SPECIAL MEETING
of the VIRGINIA BEACH CITY COUNCIL for City Council to VOTE ON THE
APPOINTMENT OF A NEW CITY MANAGER and on A CONTRACT FOR THE
NEW CITY MANAGER. The formal session meeting will be held later the same day:
