Mayor Dyer called to order the SPECIAL FORMAL SESSION of the VIRGINIA BEACH CITY
COUNCIL, at the Convention Center on Thursday, June 4, 2020, at 12:45 P.M

Mayor Dyer entertained a motion to permit City Council to conduct its CLOSED SESSION,pursuant to
Section 2.2-3711(A)(1), Code of Virginia, as amended,for the following purpose:
PERSONNEL MATTERS:Discussion, consideration of or interviews of
prospective candidates for employment, assignment, appointment,
promotion, performance, demotion, salaries, disciplining or resignation
of specific public officers, appointees or employees pursuant to Section
2.2-3711(A)(1)
