The re@.ular meeting of the Council of tlie City of Virginia Beach,
Virginia, was held in the Council Cliamt)ers, in the Admiistration
Building, in the Borou@,h of Princess Aitne, on 1/21onclay, July 1, 1974,
at 2:00 p.m.
Tlie invocation was given by the Revereiid W. Jerry ifolcomb, Kings
Grant Baptist Church, Virginia Beach, l'irginia.
Mayor Robert B. Cromwell, Jr. turned tlie gavel over to Mr. John V.
Fentress, Clerk of the Circuit Court, for the purpose of administering
the oath of office and also for the el,@ction of a Ilayor and Vice @,layor.
