Mr. Grover Wright appeared on behalf of tlie Virginia Beach Innkeepers
Association requesting Council to consider and adopt an Ordinance to
prohibit the outdoor posting of rates on inotel-hotel premises.
The following are noted as supporting the proposed ordinance:

approach to the sanitation problenis and is inaking every effort to work with
the Hampton Roads Sanitation District Coniflii,,sion, the State Water Control
Board and other parties to alleviate tlie se,@,;age problem.

Mr. Thomas Kvrus appeared before City Council requesting withdrawal. of the
application @f London Bridge Properties, In,:. for a Change of 7oning, tvhich
was deferred by City Council on March 9, 1970 (Item #2109) pending a decision
to be rendered by the Circuit Court.
City Council requested that the application of London Bridge Properties, Inc.
for a Change of Zoning be advertised, indicating the request for withdrawal,
,or the January 3, 1972, City Council Meeting.
Mr. Thomas Kyrus returned to the City Council indicating that the applicants
did not wish to withdraw their application For a Change of Zoning.

as set forth under the City's contractual obligation.
