per year for each license year as proqided in this article ul)on every
person oiming a motor vehicle desi@,iiel and used for the transport@tti-on
of passengers, wliich shall i.nclude ev@ry'vehicle whicli is se)-f-propelled
or designed for self-propulsioii, regularly kept in the city and used
upon the public roadways of the city, except,-as herein other@@7ise
specifically provided.
No license fee shall be reqtiired of any person for ariy vehicle not
required. to obtain an annual registralion certificate and license by
Code of Virginia, section 66.1-45 et seq., or any vehicle specifically
exempt by Code of Virginj-a, section 46.1-66.
On and after January 1, 1967, tlie license tax for motorcycles shal.1
