Holland and seconded by Mx. Pavne the following resolution was unanimously adopted. R,E S 0 L U T I 0 N WHERFAS, on Octobor 15, 1970, two @esidents of the City of Virginia Beach were near the seaigard end of Rudee Inlet channel and their small boat wa& capsized by a swell from the turbulent sea; and WHEP,EAS, Burnley l@l. Williams was in the area working on the dredge -in Rudee Inlet with other crewmen; and WHEREAS, Burnley W. Williams without regard to his personal safety made use of a 16' barge and raced to the rescue of the stranded men and pulled them to safety aboard the dredge. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVEO BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CLTY OF VIRGINIA BEACH, VIRGINIA: That the Council of the City of Virginia Beach takes pleasure in extending its praise and sincere appreciation to Burnley W. FOURTH, the dollar amount of cost of participation as determined from the application of the Fornula (Factor P of the Formula) x-7ill be due and payable, as a condition preceden-@ to the issuance of a building permit for each dwelling unit. The amount of money to be paid will be that in effect at the time the building permit is applied for, but payable when the building permit is actually issued. The amount due .to be made payable to the School Board of the City of Virginia Beach, Virginia.
