ITEM #8932 Application of Rosso and Mastracco, Incorporated for a Conditional Use Per- 'mit for a gasoline supply station (self-service) om certain property located on the North side of Virginia Beach Boulevard beginning at a point 300 feet more or less West of the intersection with North Lynnhaven Road running a distance of 800 feet more or less along the Eastern property line, running a distance of 830 feet more or less along the Northern property line, running a distance of 780 feet more or less along the Eastern property line and run- ninga distance of 1,200 feet more or less along the Southern property line of which 720 feet more or less is the North side of Virginia Beach Boulevard. Said parcel is located in the Southeast section of Lsmnhaven Shopping Center. Plats with more detailed information are available in the Department of Planning. (Chesopeian Colony Area). LYN~VEN BOROUGH. Planning Cormmission Recommendation: A motion was pass=_d by the Planning Commission by a recorded vote of 9 for th~ motion and 4 against the motion to approve this request. AN ORDINANCE CLOSING, VACATING AND DISCONTINUING A PORTION OF PROVIDENCE ROAD, KEMPSVILLE BOROUGH, CITY OF VIRGINIA BEACH, VIRGINIA WHEREAS, proper notice that the RICHARD F. HUF~HttIES ~. Brickell, concerning the availability and/or ownership of certain school sites in the Indian Lakes area and the Princess Anne Plaza area. It appears from remarks made by Doctor James .b~ounie, Assistant Superintendent of Schools, that economic conditions have delayed the development of subdivisions in both areas and resulted in change of ownership in the u~developed sites. Tile question was raised as to the ~esponsibility of ..... he new owners to honor the commitments made by a former owner and some .onsequent trading of real properties to provide school sites without cost to ~e City.
