Civic Organtzattons, presented a Resolution requesttng the Vtrgtnta Beach City Counctl lower the
tax rate from 1 22% to 1 15% Satd Resolution ts hereby made apart of the record
Al Strazzullo, 3120 Sand Ptne Road 23451, Phone 481-0024, advtsed real estate tax revenues wtll tncrease
by approximately $25-MILLION, and suggested this be shared wtth the taxpayers. Mr Strazzullo expressed
concern relattve the hotel assessments and the net hotel average tncrease tn assessment was 2% per year
over the past 10 years
