Recommendations
#1:Adopt a resolution stating that the
creation of good quality workforce
housing integrated within new
housing development is a desirable
goalfor the city and that city actions will
be directed toward achieving that goal in
coordination with the city’s overall goals.

#2: Establish a Workforce Housing
Advisory Committeeto provide ongoing
stakeholder input into the development of
the WFH program regulations, and to
provide ongoing oversight and reporting
on the progress of the program, including
an annual review and report on needed
changes.

#3. Direct staff to develop a Mixed
Income Workforce Housing Policy
and Processthat promotes voluntary
inclusion of WFH where possible in future
housing projects.

Bonus Density programin accordance
with the principles outlined herein

Fund”to receive 2nd liens from WFH
units; and to provide for future assistance
in developing WFH.

Ordinance to serve the “Strategic Growth
Areas (SGA’s).”Provisions of the
ordinance should address the application

on parcels where it is appropriate as
called for in the Comprehensive Plan
