Jones, called to order the CITY COUNCIL'S WORKSHOP in the City Council Conference Room, Tuesday, August 12, 2014, at 4:00 P.M. Council Members Present: Robert M. Dyer, Barbara M. Vice Mayor Jones introduced and welcomed Gerald Yagan, Owner —Military Aviation Museum. Mr. Yagan expressed his appreciation to City Council for allowing him to address some of the concerns that have been expressed in the recent weeks. Mr. Yagan distributed the following: • Official Program Guide for Warbirds Over The Beach held May 16-18, 2014, which is an FAA administered airshow held at the Museum • Official Program Guide for Biplanes and Triplanes that was held September 21-23, 2012 • Symphony Air Show Flying Proms scheduled for June 7, 2014 • Organization Chart • Packet of information beginning with a letter to City Council from the City Planning Commission dated October 14, 1969, and ending with a Court Order dated March 12, 2004 • Letter to Willis H Robertson dated September 25, 2008 • Contact information for the three (3)groups that regulate the airport and the sky above it The only "waivered air space"the Museum has is during the "Wings Over the Beach"Airshow where the planes fly low to the ground. The FAA inspects the aircraft and approves the waiver. Vice Mayor Jones expressed his appreciation to Mr. Yagan for the information.
