Because of the nature of realtor and real estate agent affiliation, the size of Howard Hanna, and the volume of transactions it handles in any given year, Howard Hanna has an interest in numerous matters in which she is not personally involved and of which she does not have personal knowledge. In order to ensure her compliance with both the letter and the spirit of the State and Local Government Conflict of Interests Act(the "Act'), it is her practice to thoroughly review the agenda for each meeting of City Council for the purpose of identifying any matters in which she might have an actual or potential conflict. If, during her review of the agenda for any given meeting of the Council, she identifies a matter in which she has a "personal interest,"as defined in the Act,she will file the appropriate disclosure letter to be recorded in the official records of the City Council. Council Member Wilson regularly makes this disclosure. Her letter of February 20, 2018, is hereby made part of the record.
