Nutter II rj.nutter@troutman.com September 20, 2021 VIA ELECTRONIC CORRESPONDENCE Mrs. Barbara Henley City Council Chamber Municipal Center Virginia Beach, Virginia 23456 Barbara.Henley( cox.net Re: Royal Farms Application Dear Mrs. Henley: in performing your due diligence on this application, you asked for details that may be reflected on the site plan that Council will be voting on but are not delineated in the staff report As a result, I wanted to list the concessions Royal Farms has made on this application, to address issues raised by the church during our meetings with them. Those concessions are enumerated herein: 1. Located the store and canopy as close to the intersection as possible and furthest from the church. 2. Reduced the number of gas islands from five to four. 3. Eliminate the proposed shared access way to Princess Anne Road, eliminating the only full access to the site and leaving additional room for tree preservation. 4. Leave large portions of the existing treed area adjacent to the church in a natural state (ranging from 35 feet to approximately 100 feet in width). 5. Install an underground storm water system to reduce any additional tree loss. 6. Relocate the underground fuel tanks to move the truck loading area away from the church. 7. Relocate the car wash to the western portion of the site approximately 370 feet from the church Mrs. Barbara Henley September 20,2021 troutman Page 2 pepper 8. Install an eight feet high fence as opposed to a six-foot fence inside the treed area adjacent to the improvements on the site. 9. Construct an all-brick store versus the company's prototypical store design. Sincerely, R.J. Nutter II 119579119 •® © . '. 4 toMN 4;7 8 — co k, , /: b . _____ 0 0 0(:: ty C-- -] / :-c_ _I.
