Mayor Meyera E. Oberndorf called to order the PUBLIC HEARING of the VIRGINIA
BEACH CITY COUNCIL for VIRGINIA BEACH SCHOOL BOARD APPOINTMENTS in the Council
Chambers, City Hall Building, on Thursday, November 30, 1988, at 4:00 P.M.

Board Candidates, Ladies and Gentlemen: Business
travel in connection with my Navy employment
requires my being on the West Coast this week.
While I cannot be physically here today, a court
reporter is taking a verbatim transcript of today's
proceedings. You can be assured of my very close
