Attorney Robert Cromwell reiterated that ALLIANCE HEALTH SERVICES CORPORATION does have a contract with DREDEVCO, his clients, for approximately 40-acres of property on BONNEY ROAD. This article referenced City Council's elimination of the "BENDIX ROAD" as a Potential Site for the REFUSE TRANSFER STATION on November 25, 1985. As this entailed a 40 acre project with a purchase price in excess of $4 MILLION, the contract contained a contingency between DREDEVCO and ALLIANCE relating to the location of the proposed TRANSFER STATION on BENDIX ROAD. Attorney Cromwell advised he had appeared before Council representing ALLIANCE for a Change of Zoning from 0-1 to B-3 on Bendix Road for the ultimate construction of their FITNESS and WELFARE CENTER.
